been confirmed on T&A site that neros dislocated his shoulder and will miss 3 to 4 weeks. big blow as he's easily been our best Centre so far this year and has answered a lot of the critiscm he received last year. otoh its a big chance for crookes to step and show what he can do.

Bummer, good opportunity for Crookes although that depends if Macca chooses to play him (could end up with Platt in there... ).

After the performances of the younger guys against Leeds I don't see how he has another option than to start picking them and bleeding them into the 13.

Gutted for Nero, been a much improved player and one of our most dangerous players. Certainly could of done without another injury however Crookes did pretty well on Friday night. Hopefully he'll take this opportunity to stake a claim for a regular spot. Big opportunity for him now!

Losing Nero is definitely a blow. However, Crookes now has a chance to prove himself. So long as he get's played

Once Deacon is back Menzies will play Centre.

TBH, I'd stick with Menzies & Jefferies at 6&7. Deacon isn't the player he once was and really at the moment all he offers is his goal kicking. I think him having to earn back his place (as when fit he's been put immediatly into the team and I think it's left him a little complacent) would do him a lot of good.

You might do that but once Deacon is fit he'll be back in the side.
