Is it 10 games already??? : Fri Apr 17, 2009 2:05 pm

There is a time for polls and it is after 10 games have been played. Anyway I have voted in this one and since changed my mind. I believe others have as well.

Right then ladies and gentlemen. Sorry about this, but tonight is our 10th competitive game this season. There was lots of talk when discussing McNamara about giving him 10 games before judging, so what do we all think now?

The poll when run before had these results;
option 1 = 40%
option 2 = 21%
option 3 = 13%
option 4 = 12%
option 5 = 12%

I've added option 6 for the uber positive amoungst us.

To help here is a list of our ten results (if you need reminding)

Round 1...Bradford 13 V 13 Hull KR...att=12,141
Round 2...Bradford 12 V 16 Huddersfield...att=10,186
Round 4...Wigan 44 V 10 Bradford
Round 5...Bradford 24 V 36 Hull...att=11,327
Round 6...Catalan 24 V 30 Bradford
Round 7...Cas 28 V 26 Bradford
C-Cup.....Catalan 40 V 38 Bradford
Round 8...Bradford 10 V 6 Leeds...att=14,554
Round 9 Wakefield 24 V 22 Bradford
Round 10 Bradford 22 V 58 Warrington (edit)

2 games we were never in contention (edited)
7 of the 10 games so far have been decided by 6 points or less
Average home attendance = 11300 ish (edit)
Our record is Pld10 W2 L7 D1 (edit)
We are second from bottom of superleague (edit)
We are the second lowest scoring team
We are 5 points off a playoff spot
We are 7 points behind the current champions Leeds

I've posted this now as Im off the PC soon and I thought it would be interesting to see how opinion has been affected by the collapses at Cas and Catalan followed by the great win against Leeds. Everyone kept mentioning 10 games so I thought it needed marking, and what better way than (yet another) poll! If the Mods want to lock this until after the 10th final hooter then no worries. :D If the mods want to lock it as they are fed up of McNamara talk and polls then,

No slanging match please, just what are your thoughts on McNamaras situation on the day of the 10th game. Discuss...

Old Mr Jones went to his surgery for his annual health check. The practice nurse said to him, Mr Jones you have to stop masturbating. Why, he said. Because I'm trying to examine you she replied

I'd be inclined to pick that.

Despite results not going our way, I think short term we're not too far away and longer term I feel the club is doing things to right the situation we are in. (Most of which isn't due to those trying to get us out of the mire)

Obviously. Anybody with a full loaf will see that there is no point changing coach till the end of season. I put till end of this season and see where it ends up, but I think we should at least let Macca live out his contract, as he has promised to challenge for the title.
