I found that quite funny to read - as the article, aimed at Australian readers talks about how big Sams head is.
Hey, it was!!! Superb bit of digging that up Paul!
And, more to the point I suggest...doesn't Beaver come across as one bloody cracking guy off the park as well as on it? Our Aussie friends told us this, and on this occasion anyway I'm happy to acknowledge they look to have been utterly and completely right.
I'd like to paste an extract of what he said, for those too busy to follow the link:

He (Sam) was only 18 when he was picked for Great Britain and I believe he has the potential to be the best forward in the game. He's the most promising young kid at the club and I reckon he'd go well if he wanted a crack in the NRL. He's...very good with the ball in his hands. There's a real presence about him on and off the field. He is an awesome talent...
...There's been a bit of talk about my future this week. At the moment I feel like I wouldn't mind going around for another year, which will probably be my last - although you never know.
Ideally, I'd like to finish up at Bradford. The players and coaches have been great and I've settled in well over here.
Two obvious points: Firstly, this is aimed at an Aussie audience, so he's no reason to put much spin on it. Secondly, that for Sam to get a rap like that from a legend of the game speaks volumes (as well as basically indicating where Sam will likely end up, IMO?); and he's surely nailed his colours to the mast about Bradford, given he need not have said anything or could have been non-committal and said summat like he'll do whats best financially for his family?
