RAB World Cup Predictions - THE FINAL : Mon Nov 25, 2013 4:50 pm  

We started off with fourteen... now we just have two!!!

Bullcharge (Ton) vs Roger Daly (USA)

For obvious reasons, there is just one game to predict. Therefore there will be a couple of little twists in this the final round.

The main task will be correctly predicting the winner and winning margin. Points will be scored as normal.

There will also be a number of head to head predictions for which bonus points can be gained if answered correctly (exact answers receive 5pts each).

If the scores are level after the result and 3x bonus predictions, it will go to the first tie breaker etc etc.

So here is the list for prediction...

Australia vs New Zealand
Bonus 1 - First try scorer (players name)?
Bonus 2 - Minute first points scored (going by the BBC game clock)?
Bonus 3 - Man of the Match (players name)?
Tie Breaker 1 - Total points scored in the game?
Tie Breaker 2 - Total attendnace at the final?

Predictions must be in by no later than 7pm on Friday 29th November.

Bonus 3 - Man of the Match - Johnathan Thurston

All the best Bullscharge,I too was gonna put Thurston for MOM ha .Didnt know if we could pick the same but in interest of tie breakers been decisive thought it best to pick somebody else

The result is in. The winner of the RAB World Cup Predictions Final is.... BULLCHARGE (TONGA)!!!

Bullcharge (Ton) 6-1 Roger Daly (USA)

Commiserations to Roger Daly who is pipped to the post. In the end both predicted the correct winner but Bullcharge's correct choice for MOTM won it for Tonga.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the competition. I'm now off for a post-season break but don't fear... i'll be back for SL 2014 and another year of SL Predictions!!!
