I've just been in the BBC and Sporting Life web sites and have to ask, who counted the crowd? 8500? Where were the extra 3000 fans hiding? I might be wrong in my estimate but if correct those are good numbers for a Team on its last legs....They couldn't all be Spartacus or Brian, could they?

5.4k seems about right.

That's 100 shy of Huddersfield's average crowd in the season they finished top.

While we are talking about the crowd, I have actually thought that the atmosphere this year has been really bad, worse than previous years.

There were a couple of occasions in today's game when i actually heard people shouting from the coral stand word for word. I was standing in line with the half way line, about 1/3 up into the crowd on the pop side.

We really miss the drummer kid, at least we could get a chant or 2 going.

Had to smile at the end when the Broncos players were looking round for some of their fans to acknowledge at least we still give the lads some backing at away games

8 fans massive turnout for them then, we normally give the 2 in the corner a cheer at the end.


5k fans is a pretty good turnout I would say considering what you are going threw.

any london fan who travels to yorkshire to watch a thumping deserves credit..
