I've just listened to this and Robbie is asked directly whether we'll be bringing in new players and he very carefully avoids the question.

I'm really not convinced we're going got be any better off in the forseeable

I don't agree TBH. I think he pretty much confirmed that everyone knows what is needed and that is where we will be going. He just did not set any timescales.

I reckon that there will be additions next week.

I hope you're right but it just sounded really laboured like he was desperate to avoid saying we would make some signings. MY scepticism is probably just peaking after months of being fed boll0cks from everybody involved

I think after the debacle when Moore announced we’d “ringfenced players” and were having “no points deducted” Robbie is being understandably circumspect in what he commits to.

Any idiot can see that the squad urgently needs strengthening if we’re to have a prayer of staying up. If Green’s serious about that we’ll see some new recruits come in over the next few weeks.

But that takes money & where do you think it will come from? It was spending money the club didn't have on players that that caused the last 2 Administrations.

It wasn't, of course; but before you go any further, please confirm if you have evidence that Green "does not have money to spend on players". I am surprised he has given you access to his financials.

It's the financial position of the new company that owns the Bulls that should be of interest. Of course, according to the Announcement, Mr Green will be overseeing the audit of the Club he mentioned. Until that is done and the financial situation known, it is premature for anybody to be expecting new players to be signed.

……and as I said if Green’s serious about staying up we’ll have some new recruits in the next few weeks.

He’ll want to get his audit done asap so he’s aware of the finances and doesn’t potentially lose any more money. If we’re skint and can’t afford signings to stay up then we’ll know we’re doomed to relegation.

I’m sure when we’re playing Cougars in a year or two you’ll be happy.
