BullBuilder donation : Fri May 09, 2014 5:10 pm
Bradford Bulls Academy players will now be able to review their performances at any time of night or day thanks to BullBuilder. The Bulls Supporter’s Trust has used money raised through subscriptions and Golden Gamble ticket sales to donate a new multi DVD copier for the club’s training base that allows academy players to take away DVDs of their games so they can study them at home.
BullBuilder Chairman Mike Farren commented “This contribution from BullBuilder further enhances player development through video analysis of individual performance. It will hopefully help players to improve their game and lead to better performances from the team.”
Academy players study personalised footage of their performances that analyse all aspects of their game through a specialist software package. This footage is edited and viewed at the club’s training base. The DVD copier complement existing equipment to allow coaches to copy footage for players to study.
Bulls Academy chief Richard Tunningley said “I’m very grateful to BullBuilder for the donation of this piece of equipment. It will have a positive impact on player education and should help them improve their performance on the field. I’d like to thank all the BullBuilder members for their continued support”.
BullBuilder is currently planning a series of events to raise further money to assist the Academy and following a recent productive meeting with Managing Director Steve Ferres will continue to provide a conduit for fans to the new owners.
Mike Farren said “We’ll shortly be publicising details of upcoming events and members can rest assured they’ll be the first to get news of our meetings with club officials and our activities to help the Academy.”
Bulls’ fans wishing find out more can visit the BullBuilder website at http://www.bullbuilder.co.uk/ or write to BullBuilder, Bradford Rugby League Supporters Society Ltd, Suite 2 Buttershaw Works, Buttershaw Lane, Bradford, BD6 2DD

Is it possible to restart a bullbuilder membership dormant from when trust went dormant or do we need to rejoin like a new member?

Hi Mat,

When we went dormant, we said that members who were active at the time remained active - and this should still be the case now. Did you receive correspondence about the AGM etc earlier in the year? If so, you will be on our books as a member.

However, now that we are active again, we want to resume raising funds, so it would be good if we could get members contributing financially once again. We plan to start the process of contacting current and lapsed members about this shortly, but if you want to PM me with your particular circumstances, we can discuss further.

We'll put out details shortly, but just to let you know that we're intending to hold our first event around the start of July.
