Just when we needed a speech and performance of Chuchillian proportions along the lines of ....
'We shall not flag or fail, we shall go onto the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on our 40 metre line, we shall fight in their half, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength, we shall defend our super league status whatever the cost may be. We shall fight in every tackle, we shall fight on their line and ours. We will fight at every play the ball, we will fight at every scrum. We will never surrender.'
Instead we got Neville Chamberlain and appeasement.
Enough is enough ... Chamberlain and his cabinet must go!!

It is embarrassing how poor we were yesterday. The Catalan side did not even have to be that good, yet still they nearly hit 50 points and nearly nilled us. This, being the same Catalan side that nearly (and should have) drew with the mighty London just last week.
We are soft, uninventive, slow, predictable and pretty much beaten before we start at the moment. The lack of confidence is sadly worse than the lack of ability in the side.
There is just nothing at all that gives me any hope whatsoever that we can get out of this.
T misquote a Nobbyism the Bulls needed to come out like George Foreman but came out like George Formby.
The reason London are looking more competitive is because they are now getting a settled side whereas the Bulls are having to make do with too many injuries and also loans coming & going and while that's happening no Team in any League will put in decent let alone winning performances. Its not going to change much but if Franny is allowed a more settled side improvement will come, more gritting of teeth by long suffering Fans still needed.

Well, 'tis a better, more positive, attitude than those who moan at everything and rarely have a good word for anyone at the club, don't you think, Eddie?

What on earth can we say positively at the moment? Well at least we scored? At least we didn't concede 50 points for third week in a row. I can take us losing. But we are getting absolutely smashed every single game. It is painful to watch at how bad we are. The standard of passing, attacking setup, organisation, kicking game, ability to tackle, defensive line speed, aggression, leadership. Everything is abysmal at the moment. They are full time players earning wages some of us could dream about. Yet the young lad Bates who is only part time and hardly any SL experience as shown more guts, effort and quality than some of our well paid senior players. There is NOTHING to be positive about at the moment. A part time championship club would be shipping the amount of points we are at the moment.
If you put that team out in C1 and they played with that attitude then they would lose plenty of C1 games too. Any committed team has a good chance against a bunch of disinterested players many of whom are "not prepared" to work.
