It's not just this shirt. Nor just this sport. There really are a lot of people who somehow get paid for designing shirts that are, er, just not very good. And yes I know that you could come up with a bright blue shirt with pnk and yellow spots and it would still have a percentage who loved it, but really, how do these people get jobs? On this new Bulls one, the general design is actually quite good, but it is spoiled for me by the big red splurge.
Our Blackpool kit was spoiled for me (apart from the dodgy colours, but that's a matter of taste I suppose) by incorporating those huge arcs back and front, making the wearer resemble a bubble. Something I need no help with. I have a cupboard full of old Bradford shirts as I used to buy most of them but some of these designs just put me off past the point.
