Please can we give this kid his own thread?

What an absolute little legend AoB is! He has been targeted and belted round his head every week but he always comes out stronger. You can always count on him to find the gap and he puts 100% into every tackle.

We have been blessed with good 9's over the years and I did love watching Heath play but I'll be the most devastated about losing a player for a long time if we lost AoB to a SL club.

How good is he compared to the rest of the Championship/SL?

Agree totally, but could we give him a rest against Donny! Worry about the lad being burnt out come the important part of the season. Give Halafihi a go.

He's as tough as they come and is SL quality. Imagine how good he'll be in a few years?

As for resting him it might help to give Halafihi more game time anyway as he'll be underdone in the event that OB gets injured.

I think he's brilliant and for me he's the player that has improved the most this season.

I'd still play him against Doncaster but I'd maybe have Halafihi on the bench to give O'Brien a bit of a rest and also to give Halafihi some game time.

He's too good for the league we're in, it's as simple as that.
However, I hope we can keep hold of him even if we don't go up this time.
The rfl have put salary cap and home grown rulings in place to give clubs like us the best possible chance of keeping our promising youngsters. They were literally brought in for situations exactly like this one.

I bet he could play some teams on his own. He's really kicked on this year under Lowes. He has the potential to be the captain of this team in the future.

Being given 80 minutes every week as certainly helped O'Brien kick on this year and I don't think it hurts that he's got Lowes there as a mentor.

But I agree that he's going to be one of our players that other teams are going to be circling should we fail to gain promotion this year
