Ross (T&A reporter) has tweeted that we have two appeals been heard by RFL tonight. one for the warning from the Leigh game at start of season and a second for having 14 men on pitch ( thinks it was against dewsbury). Be just our luck to get a points deduction for latter and give sheffield a sniff of pinching 2nd place.

No chance of that, the RFL have already set precedent. 2pts and £5k. That's what Salford got

When did rfl ever take precedent into account where we're concerned . 2pt deduction would put Sheffield 4pts behind us with a massive pts difference to overcome so unlikely to be an issue TBF.

The RFL set the precedent at 2 pts and a fine. Which means we'll get 2 ptv and a fine and then told we can only play with 10 men on the field for one year and we have to apply for another 3 at the end of next season. wakefield supporters club will still moan about it.

The RFL actually only gave Salford a fine until they appealed. Also if I remember rightly, didn't Salford score in the time they had 14 on a field. Sure it was the winning try. Depends how long we had 14 men on the field. Situations like this, it's the 4th official at fault than the club.

If they deem that as bringing the game into disrepute,you could have bigger problems.

Apealing a warning? Hope they reject your appeal and add a fine which you fully deserved.

How would you share 6 points in the middle 8's between the other clubs though? Surely it should be a minimum of 7 points or perhaps 14?

Why the hell are we appealing against a warning? Does Marc just appeal against every decision that doesn't go his way or something? Ridiculous.
