Yep. Happy with Caro. Has speed to burn and is quite difficult to put down. He's done well in his time here.

Agreed about half back and two nasty big props, but then that would be my recruitment done. Huge turnover of players never works. Hopefully with us trimming the squad down, we can spend big on those 3.

Happy with the Caro, Williams and Clare for next year. Guess we'll have to wait and see if any of the current squad join them (Etu & Ulugia).

If it's correct about Matt Groat coming to the Bulls then that's another box ticked.

If we don't go up I think we will lose a couple... Gaskell and O'Brien in particular! Then we would need replacements for them.

Maybe even the likes of Pitts and Ferguson... There will be a few changes in the off season I believe.

Guess there will be changes...to be fair, it would be a strange end of season if there weren't!. Whatever happens though, I definitely hope we can keep the players at the better end of the squad - in the event of us staying down, I still hope we can improve the quality of the squad, all be it by losing some depth.

Happy enough about Caro though. I know we haven't really seen that much of him so far but he's shown he knows the way to the line.

But surely the whole point of a second season in the Championship is to be better not worse?

Gaskell said he would stay and he seems like a straight enough bloke, so if I believe him, why would others leave, unless offered huge buck which in the present climate is unlikely?

If we keep the main players together and add a couple (everyone knows we just need two badman props and a scrum half) then we will be a much more fearsome proposition in 2016. If however we are going to lose a raft of our best players then we may as well pack it in as that way lies death of the club as we have known it. I don't want to be a little Championship club. I love going to watch Keighley when I get the chance, and odd games at places like Dewsbury, so I am not bagging them, quite the opposite, but the Bulls as I understand the concept is to be a big city club challenging for SL. Because for a club our size and potential that is realistic, not far-fetched. If the club loses that ambition then honestly, it will not last long at Odsal, the slippery slope is short and being a feeder club in the lower leagues simply can not work for the Bulls. The numbers don't add up.

It's more of a fearful prediction than anything else FA.

I would like to see pretty much the same side (plus the additions you mentioned) kept regardless of league! It will make a change not having 10-15 players out and in during off season.
