Alright guys. I know he is from Leeds and has been a thorn in our side for many years (except for when he should have taken the two) but as a nominee for Sports Personality of the Year I feel we should all get behind him. As a sport we get little enough recognition so we should grab any chance we have to get recognition for 'one of our own'. Looking at past voting results you may need to get 200k to win but 40k-50k get a top 3 most years. (Personally I'd have preferred to see Jamie Peacock nominated but I suspect Sir Kev gets the nod for being captain)
I'm surprised it wasn't JP who got nominated. I suppose many would suggest I chose him because he played for us, but that's not really the case. I can't think of anyone better to represent RL - he's been THE man in the game for the last 10 t0 12 years, imo.
I'm not a Sinfield fan, and he hasn't been Leeds' best player this season let alone Superleague's, BUT I will be voting for him, for the greater good of Rugby League. It would help rub Yawnion's nose in it after England's RU World Cup fiasco, even though they will no doubt claim him as one of their own now!
Please vote for Kevin Sinfield, make history, and vote for OUR sport. We don't get enough media coverage, this is our chance...
You can vote for FREE once online - You will need to register for a online BBC Account.
You can call as many times as you like - the number will be made available on the night of the awards.
#BuyKevAPint - Buy Kevin Sinfield a Pint for SPOTY Success, If everyone in RL spends just £3, the cost of a pint, on 20 phone votes for him on Sunday night he will likely win SPOTY.
If you don't vote, RL will be left behind again. Lets make a stand for our sport and an RL legend. We might never have the same chance again.
#Kev4SPOTY - Please put club loyalties aside for this one and lets show the other sports what the RL Family can do.

Thanks.
Whilst I am voting for him, it will be just the once. If someone "wins" because their dad voted a million times - what actually was the point? Anyway, such cheating by the committed could only ever hope to tip the balance in an extremely close vote. The numbers willing to vote multiple times are just inflating Kev's total by a micromargin, and doing nothing to enhance his chance of being placed.
I'll vote for him, but just the once. 20 times is far too much effort for me. It's scary that the BBC have such advanced technology in being able to find Kevin Sinfields personality though... someone needs to keep an eye on them.
I will be voting 120 times because I am supremely confident caller ID does not yet exist and the BBC have never considered the possibility of vote brigading in an entirely non partisan endeavour like sport.
