Thought he deserved his own thread. I’ve been impressed with him in the games I’ve seen so far. He takes some tackling and adds some much needed aggression. He’s got a few rough edges but I think he’s got real potential. We’ve tried a few players from the lower ranked teams in recent seasons and some haven’t come off. I think Clark could be a find.

Agreed, like the look of Clark. A 100% improvement on the options we had last year. He played big minutes yesterday too. Get Clough and Kavanagh back, and we have some decent props. I'd move Lovegrove into backrow, good worker, but not quite big enough for prop IMO

Totally agree with the above. This lad has the attitude missing recently and could become a legend at Odsal.

Mitch Clark reminds me of one of my first favourite Bulls players - Tahi Reihana.

Totally agree, he's been superb. He'll be needed more than ever over the next few weeks if Sidlow's, 'broken hand', turns out to be correct.

That. Appeared to be the only one who wanted to and was capable of mixing it up front. Seriously pushing for starting spot in Sidlows absence....

Back in November when he signed for us, the T&A carried his initial comments.
"I will bring aggression, will be a handful for the opposition and will do it with a positive attitude."
At the time I thought this a rather boastful promise and one that would most likely fail (at last in the short term) given his limited experience and still tender age
Whilst I fervently wish he might become the Messiah of Aggression that we have long waited for, past expectations from more experienced pretenders have failed rather miserably.

Whatever, this is going to be a really interesting season for him... and us

Couldn't agree more. I thought he was outstanding yesterday. Ran his blood to water and made plenty of good metres after the collision. If he's like that consistently (yesterday was the first time I've seen him play) he should quite easily cement a first 17 spot in my book.

100% agree!! Proving to be a great signing so far... even when as a team we were poor for that first 65 minute, he was the only one that stood out. Was surprised to hear them announce Mathers as MOM.

Lauaki could learn a thing or two from young Mitch.

Clark has really stepped up so far this year. Especially given that he's only 22, I think we've a solid player for quite some time
