There isn't any.

Just decided to get this off my chest. WTF is the reason why, seemingly alone amongst sports clubs, Bulls fans are kept completely in the dark about the injuries to members of our squad?

What's brought this on at this particular time is of course the farrago surrounding Gaskell, who might be playing tomorrow, or might be out for 12 weeks, or whichever rumour you pick, but the club just never tells us anything any more, or should I say, nothing you can take at face value.

If the plan is to keep the opposition guessing - it isn't working.

I don't want access to full medicals -I just want us to get the same level of info about injuries as we used to, and as far as I can see, the fans of pretty much every other pro sports clubs, who after all pay the wages, get.

I am totally fed up of having no clue who is out, who is fit, who is long-term.

Rant over. Not sure I feel much better.

This is something I briefly spoke to Rohan Smith about at the forum last month, he said that it was something that they would look at and work on.

Whether or not he forgot as soon as he spoke to the next person is another thing.

One of the reasons for the Charnock signing was, "to cover for Gaskell", so, intentionally or not, they've given a clue to him being out for a month [at least..]

Agreed with FA, fed up of not knowing how close players are to being back, whether they're long term, short term or just not being selected.

What's odd is that if Green really was telling people Gaskell is out for 12 weeks then he obviously isn't fussed about the info getting out.

Joe Lumb is another perfect example. Is he injured right now? If not, why is he not getting any game time?

Don't think he's injured, Rohan said he went with Addy at hooker against Leigh as we got bullied last time and didn't want to give up too much size. It worked so he went with the same aganst Dewsbury where it really didn't work. Ii'd like to see Lumb back in until the season. Him and O'brien could get a partnership going that will cause all defences problems. O'brien had his best performance in a long time on Sunday, that was because he wasn't been battered for the full 80. (Although some experts in the media who had seen their first Bulls game for a while were ranting that why wasn't O'brien playing the full 80 and that Rohan Smith was the wrong choice.)

I think maybe the lack of injury news has come because of the breakdown between the club and the t&a. It's the papers that usually release injury news and the club doesn't seem to be releasing much info to Ross. He seemed to only find out about the Moss signing from looking at the fox sports new page.

There could be a "Treatment Table" segment of the weekly Members Email.

I've just read last week's email - I don't usually bother - and there's not much that wasn't already out as news.

There are 2 players in Baile and Mendieka who i dont even know if there are alive let alone injured.

I believe the reason is not wanting to put off the walk up fans.

If the fans don't know that the club's star player is out for 2 months (and more casual fans who don't read forums likely won't know), then they don't make the decision to not go to that game as we'll likely get a hammering. If said fan did know that the only halfback, two of the best props and the captain were all injured for the foreseeable future, they may not bother spending that brass.

Bottom line always speaks loudest.

They'd probably see that from the 19 man squad though.

Which in fairness does sometimes mention why Player X is replaced with Player Y.
