I've always seen Leon as a classic centre than stand off and I feel this has held him back in certain areas of his game over the years.

One thing that Rohan and players can tap into is Leon's wealth of experience from his 17 years at the top.

Leon’s signing has been rumoured every time his contract has come up since he left.

I think he could be a decent signing for us. We need some experience in the middle of the field and he’s certainly got that. Whether he’s consistent leadership material I don’t know. He always did have the habit of drifting in and out of games.

I think he would be a great signing. Has a storming game against Wigan earlier in the season. He would be completely wasted at centre. Get him at 6.

I always thought fullback was his best position. But in no way am I saying we should play him there. He'll be at 6, no matter where anyone thinks he's better off.

Good player to have when things are going well. Local lad who still lives in Bradford and cares about the club. Yeah he'll go missing when things aren't going so well, but we've had 17 of those at times this season.

His pace is completely gone but he'll still do well at this level. Decent step, good hands, hardly ever gets tackled with the ball.
His age would make me anxious though, I'd basically be expecting him to get injured in every game he played.

Good spine but we need the forwards to give them the time and space.

Leon may be a bit brittle and getting past it but he could be very useful if used sparingly.

We don't want to get him smashed like when we played an ageing Paul Deacon behind a weak set of forwards.

He would be a good addition to the squad imo, though any ideas he'd be the one leading us around are probably a bit wide of the mark. As said above, he's got an eye for the gap and can make a break and is able to get the ball away. I think he'd go well.

He will be a decent signing as long as his contract is correct for his age. I will still be hoping that one of the young halves that we have signed will make the step up quickly and take that No 6 spot from him on merit as that would be better long term. I can't see much more than two seasons from Leon and him not playing every week as there are many players in the championship who will target him from the off and that could make Leon take a back seat when we need him to be in the thick of it with Chisholm. That is my big concern with Leon.
