RAB predictions league - Grand Final : Mon Aug 22, 2016 9:28 am  

We started off with 52 players back in round 1. Several Leigh and Halifax fans had wandered off to play with traffic by week 2, and many more of you drifted away over the following weeks as wave upon wave of apathy washed over your feckless heads. Some of you played sporadically but were pretty good, others like myself, played religiously every week and couldn't predict a result for toffee. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I've found it a chore and I hate you all. So without further ado, the final of the 2016 Red, Amber and Black predictions competition is:

Well Bradford fans, we had one last player defending our honour and by a whisker he has triumphed. The winner on the tie-break is josefw!

I don’t know josefw as he’s never darkened the door of the moderators, but he’s kindly sent me the following brief biography:

Distinguishing features: Sabre scar to chin
Celebrity look-a-like: Ted Danson

And what can we say about the losing finalist glow? He’s very, very good, and very consistent at predicting rugby results. Other than that it’s back to the biography he’s given us:

So josefw. I’ve arbitrarily decided to give £10 to the charity of your choice. Maybe next year we’ll sort out a real prize structure, but I’m reet poor tha’ knows.
