Just had a notification from Twitter to say we have signed Jay Walton from Wakefield on a 2 year deal.

I don't no much about him does any one else.

Back-rower or centre. From what I've seen he's a strong runner. Probably in the Olbison mould but breaks a few more tackles. Certainly has plenty of heart. Think it's a decent signing

Good strong player. Tore the Championship up when at Batley and did well at Salford before moving to Wakey.

Opinion of him on the Wakey board seems to be a positive one, which is always a good sign when they could stick the boot in on a departing player. Not the most skillful player, but 100% effort and hard work seems to be the theme. That work ethic is definitely something we could do with after this year.

Not good enough for SL but a decent player at this level.
