So with friday being the cut off point for signings for the 8s, (and with roger saying he knew of more on the way) are we to be expecting any new faces other than Tonga come friday?

I don't think it matters we are gonners anyway...

Imho the only chance we have is a restructure..

I do think under normal circumstances if we were able to add a considerable couple of players in the forwards and a couple of backs we would be able to get the wins needed, but I feel we are that much in a rut of losses it will be hard to drag the players into a mental state to win them all

No point spending money on this season now Imo (quick quiz-when was the last time we won 6 or 7 games on the spin which is now the minimum requirements?).
Any signings need to fit in with whatever the plan is for life in L1 next season.

Think we need 2 forwards as Mik Oledzki & Cameron Smith have gone back to Leeds i think.

Without looking through old fixture lists I'd hazard a guess on either 2005 or 2009 when we just missed out on the playoffs when Sts rolled over at home to ensure we missed out on the last weekend of the regular season, although in 2015, after the day 1 defeat to Leigh we won a fair few

No surprise there. We were rumoured to be after Cox, so maybe that will come to pass. Now HKR have signed Masoe they must have someone spare?

Chalmers at the KR game said the deadline was the 23rd.

just double checked operational rules and he's been mis-informed. deadline is close of business Friday before last round, namely this Friday 21st. As numerous sources have been reporting for weeks so there's no excuses if he hasn't bothered checking.
