As rumoured on social media the club have now confirmed the signings of Jordan Andrade, Harvey Burnett and Dan King on one year deals.

So where oh where is the Hannibal Lector prop so beloved of a certain element of this forum? These signings just have plenty of other attributes, but no hit-man-abilitees. (deliberate spelling mistake so the "Outraged of Boweling" posters don't feel too deprived by the recent improvement in the PR mans postings, I am man enough to take the criticism). And responde in cynd (see previous posts).

And of course John Kear is already hallowed on this forum for knowing everything, so lets face it, these signing are a total indictment of either his or the outraged of howelings judgement. So lets see what he has up his sleeve.

Me, I think Chalo go for the long term fix, which is a pack that can go forward but also play a bit. Which takes much longer to develop than a decapitator.

I think Andrade is about as close to a boom prop as you can get.

Having seen all 3 players, I would think they're all likely to have been signed to flesh out the reserve team rather than the first team. They're extra backup though, which is coming at the right time with two games over easter in case injuries are picked up.

Can't see any of them playing when everyone is fit as there are better options, but it's a squad game nowadays, so extra bodies isn't a bad thing. And I doubt any of them will be breaking the bank.

The main thing is that we have a number of players that can perform a job at the level currently required.
