Still no Kirk or Oakes in the 19 man squad. But for this game I'd go with:
McNally Grant Gibson Butler-Fleming Ryan Pickersgill Keyes Crossley Flanagan Bustin Garside Johnson Minchella
Hallas Peltier Milton Chisholm
Hallas to spell Flanagan or move into the pack. Pickersgill has been going well and I'd rather keep Chisholm to another 50 mins here at Odsal which will suit us better and then have him starting vs. Oldham or start Chisholm and bring him off later.
Minchella at loose to provide a bit of ball playing as I feel we will do Hunselt 9/10 out wide as their back line isn't great and Minchella provides a better link in that respect.
Bustin to take some energy out of Hunslet like he did at Keighley which allows Peltier to do what he does best when he comes on against a tiring defence. And we have Butler-Fleming for a month, may as well use him and spell Smith who won't play every single game. For me Keyes, Flanagan or Chisholm as captain for the day.
Seeing the state of Kirks nose I think he will give it a miss on Sunday.
Not seen it pal. Can't be much worse than before though On a serious note after playing today I wouldn't consider any of the lads that played reserves until Oldham or Hunslet (CC).

Its a strong squad to be picking from this week. Can see your logic but think Kear will start with Hallas at 9 and bring Flanagan on, switching Hallas to LF. Just purely on that thought, i'd go with:
McNally Grant Gibson Butler-Fleming Ryan Pickersgill Keyes Crossley Hallas Bustin Garside Minchella Milton
Not the best of performances this afternoon. Don't get me wrong, a win is a win and there was daylight between the teams, but we really didn't gel out there today. A better team than Hunslet would have walked away with 2 points this afternoon
Actually, a better team than Hunslet DID walk away with 2 points, but that's neither here nor there
Awful, boring, dour spectacle but another win. Not much to say really. Referee just didn't seem to be arsed to penalise slowing in the ruck of either side. Chisholm probably had his worst game in a Bulls shirt and looked to be struggling at times, but its 80 minutes in the bank. Improvements needed for next 2 games
Well, first game of the season for me, and not one that I'm going to remember for years to come, that's for sure!
I suppose it was a comfortable win i.e I never thought we would lose. But, not a spectacle - and very little to excite a decent enough crowd for this level. Peltier was the best forward on the pitch, closely followed by Crossley, the rest were bang average. No real strike out wide - Grant will never have an easier hat trick - 1 from a dropped ball and 2 walk-ins. But what's happened to Ryan? As for Chisholm, he needs to cut out those Harlem Globetrotter passes, there wasn't one that came off
Fairly dull game but we got the 2 points. I felt that Hunslet would be a bit tougher to beat. Hopefully we can go back to back next week and advance in the cup.
I felt Keyes was the difference for us as Chisholm had a bit of nightmare (what was that drop out about?!). His kicking to Grant was excellent. 2 really well taken tries. Also, Steve Crossley had an exceptional game doing some big minutes.
