Are we allowed to do that? I'm hopeful that the club have checked with the RFL whether first team players can serve bans during the reserve grade fixtures.

Think club had better check sections d2:53 and d2:54 of operational rules. Way I read them reserves games during week can only count towards a ban if there are no first team fixtures the following weekend.

I hope we don’t decide to take a risk on playing Grant. We have cover to get us through this game (no offence intended to North Wales). It would be just our luck to play Grant and get stung.

I hope we don't play him as already said. We have cover and don't want to risk getting stung by RFL.

Why would we get stung? We have clarified the position with the RFL and they have wrote to Dalton Grant saying he’s free to play on Saturday after serving his one match ban today.
