Here’s a new thread for the 2019 squad, I’ve included all those that are under contract for next year and beyond. I expect there may be some ins and outs before 2019 comes around.

Might be on with some decent 3/4s from the academy with this Culling and Brining in the next couple seasons. Hopefully keep them.

Brining and Shackleton will move up to the 19s. Both England players already. As John Bastian told me the only way they won't make it is if they choose not to.

Fair comment. It's pleasing to see that we've never stopped producing talent despite the destruction and down grade in league status.

Just looking at our confirmed squad for next year, we don't appear to have any overseas players in that line up.

That must make us pretty rare for RL in this country

You're right, my mistake.

But still, 1 player out of a team is still a rare statistic for modern RL.

Also gives us room to manoeuvre if we're are looking for additional overseas players to boost the team

Given the article quoted elsewhere saying we'd have 36 players for next year and the currently list only having 33 (and that's on the assumption that all players listed are considered 1st team and not a mix of 1st and junior) we should be seeing at least 3 more players join us.

Hitchcock would be an obvious crowd pleaser.
Possibly a new deal for Chisholm but given the players we've already got confirmed it looks like he may possibly be leaving us.
For the 3rd, I wouldn't mind seeing us bring in another forward, just so we can better spell the props we have
