They can hide behind the corona virus but if everything was going well before the virus hit they wouldn't just give up their power and go back to the RFL would they. A lot of in-fighting, huge sums of money thrown away for very little return. Typical RL

If you were cynical you might think it's because any money that may be dished out by the government will be to the RFL...…

It couldn't possibly be that after all the sniping about how useless the RFL were they've found out that it isn't quite as easy as they thought.

Should have bitten the bullet with their original plan for SL and regional teams formed by mergers and compulsory ground improvements. Instead owners, players and agents squandered it all.
