I’m not sure about it ‘being born’. It’s been in the workings for a while now. This is just the latest step.

I don’t like it, I don’t think many will but we’re not in a position to turn down help of any kind.

We are a long way from being legitimate rivals these days and the bravado bad blood I think is long gone although we will still boo each other I’m sure but I think both clubs would hugely benefit if Bradford could become competitive again.

Rubbish for our lads who might make way for Leeds players on a weekly basis but I worked out pretty well for Fev while they reap the benefits with play off finishes before using it to stand on their own two feet. If we are in that position in 3-5 years I think most will grumble but accept it

It's not that long since you worsted them in the cup - pretty sure they hated that (loved it personally).

A lot of Bulls fans were perhaps spawned in the halcyon days and are still not accustomed to humdrum days. As a Leigh and Bolton Wanderers supporter, Bongser has learnt to keep the lowest plimsoll line of his mood well above the x axis from which height he can only see past and future spikes - and they are both enjoyable.

Good luck later today - though as we are up next maybe it would be more sincere to use the theatrical phrase "break a leg"

Ha, I’m pretty sure the majority of the fans ‘spawned in the halcyon days’ have now returned to their roots with Halifax/Huddersfield/Keighley.

This will be an interesting game, no excuses at home with a strong squad to pick from - will see what the side is made of against a good Batley side. Last home performance was abysmal so you would hope the players might like to address those criticisms.
