Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

NRC much better this year : Mon Feb 23, 2009 7:31 pm
The qualifying round of the NRC this season is a big improvement on previous years

Last year it was possible to qualify for the knock out rounds by losing 4 out of 6 matches

However this year it is much more like a ' real ' competition , in Leighs case despite winning 2 from 3 and gaining a bonus point for a close 4 point loss at Fev anything less than a winagainst Haven at home on sunday will most likely see us not make the last eight

We are currently top of our ' pool ' but a defeat will mean a probable 6 th place finish and out of the competition

In the other ' pool ' things are also all to play for with the last round matches

Much better

not for us it's not, we've lost three games revenue on the back of the RFL's decision.
