im an expansionist, but i fully believe that if we got rid of all the non nsw teams from the nrl and went back to balmain and wests on their own, saints and illawarra on their own we would be a much stronger game in nsw, and wouldnt miss the rest at all.

would the rest survive without us?

sydney crowds are the best when they play each other and terrible for all the expansion teams.

sydney people like watching sydney teams play.

South Sydney Rabbitohs vSt George Illawarra Dragons 12,978
avg v non Sydney teams 9,800.

Accounting for the fact there would have been more "away" fans at the game v St's the amount of Sth Sydney fans was virtually no difference so there goes that theory!
