I was a big fan of Toulouse, I think it's ridiculous we allowed them to go down. Leigh can always prove me wrong though and are one of the clubs that 'could' achieve an 'A' category over time. Maybe I'm remembering the last time you were in Super League when all those things were true. Derek talking of 8,000 crowds has maybe cheered me up, but the challenge to come up with a suitably competitive squad is there. Leigh could be a better SL team than Wakefield and Salford due to their potential, but will they? Or will it be the same as last time?

Me and you are not cut from the same cloth sunshine, you can shove your 'grading categories' up your arris. You wouldn't be typing this crap if your club hadn't won a trophy for 30 years. As for Toulouse, apart from a nice trip for away fans they offered nothing, but you already knew that.

Toulouse (both city and club) garner a fair income from travelling English fans (as do Cats). Do English clubs and towns/cities get the same rewards in return? Hmmmm!

This Leigh team is a solid team and also well coached and managed, that is the key ingredient we that has been missing previously and will be vital next year. Would be good if a promoted teAm was given some dispensation on quota numbers in year 1 at least as a competitive promoted team is a positive story for RL as Barrow has shown in the championship. People seem to criticise the investment in this years squad but that is the best way to stand a chance when you do get promoted and although we cannot keep all the overseas players we can choose the key players to retain. Applaud DH for his investment in the sport. As far as an Academy goes there are enough young RL players in Leigh to run an academy but the RL seems to be blocking this investment which is riduculous.

Thats like Saints and Wigan complaining when they each take thousands to away games in yorkshire yet get a minibus full of fans in return

If ANY club in SL relies on 1,000 away fans generating £40,000 (at best) in income, then that club has no place being considered a Super League standard club.

Well done Leigh and applause to Delboy for stumping up the cash, but this isn't a sprint and statistically, they will be hard pressed to stay up unless another club has a mare!

I'm a bit fuzzy on how it will work under the IMG thingy. As far as I can tell Wakefield (or anyone else) would be relegated if they were awarded a B licence, on a Tuesday in March, but only if it's a clear sky and there are no more than 17% of cars passing the ground that are silver, within which are less than 50% people born in the immediate locality.
