He isn't a Leeds fan. The fans travel in numbers because Odsal is so close to Leeds. Cas claim they are our 'cup final' too, but again it is due to large away followings due to close proximity.

Hang on. Leeds are the second most successful super league clubs after St Helens. Why would some championship club be their “cup final”?

These days, Bradford’s cup final is dewsbury lol. Didn’t you have to move your home games there? That’s a bit embarrassing

Thanks MaccBull for the O/P - very funny! Reminds Bongser of a Premiership Finals double-header at Old Trafford in the early '90s before the sport was wrecked. Channel 4 was broadcasting Sumo Tournaments (Bashos - not a neologism from here) at the time. The organisers decided on filling the void between the Division 2 and Division 1 finals with a couple of guys on the pitch facing off against each other with unfeasibly enormous, inflatable, plastic "Yokazunas" strapped to their backs. Whenever one "turned turtle" (often), their only help was their second - a stripling-ess sporting very long clown's boots!

Very entertaining! Anyone else amongst the elders remember that?

You can leave and re-enter the stadium at MW whenever you like. The smoking areas were almost like secret fan-zones at Newcastle.
