Common sense would say you're spot on but there's never any consistency when it comes to these things. Anyway, Bird hasn't even been to court yet.

You'd hope the Giants would give their young English halfbacks a go but I can't see that. Be interesting to see who they bring in. I'd say some Aussie waste of space, but then they don't come much bigger than the one that's already sitting there stuck with no visa (allegedly!)

coming from a Wigan fan that is laughable. if there was ever ateam in the last few years who have wasted money bringing in big names artehr tahn developing ther own youngsters it is Wiagn.


As for the comment about Carney being a waste of space. he is a risk but he is one of the potentially most exciting players in SL if he gets here.
