The entry of the Crusaders means that the competition will have three teams outside of league's traditional strongholds in northern England, the other two being Catalans Dragons, based at Perpignan in southern France, and London-based Harlequins. Regular season matches will actually take place in five countries with one round of matches taking place in Edinburgh over the course of a "Magic Weekend'' in May and Catalans scheduled to host one of their home matches in Barcelona in June in a bid to gauge interest across the border in Spain. |
