Noel Cleal says the sea eagles had a chat with Daniel Anderson to get some info on the rhinos, he goes on to say he hopes they do well over here as these are the only trail games they are having !!
Strikes me they aren't really taking it too seriously. Read on foxsports.com.au
was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Double page spread in TNT yesterday.
In the article it says that David Gallop (NRL Boss) had visited the team to underline how important the game was. They have been in training every day at 9.30am and are taking this game very seriously. They are even taking the Quins game seriously which is a worry for us

Every single year, the Aussies claim they're not taking the WCC seriously, and every year, post-match, the Aussies look angry and demoralised when the British side tear them apart. They usually follow this up with a load of excuses.
Now the following is absolute fact - Australian sportsmen would not bother themselves with travelling to the other side of the world to play a rugby league game if they did not aim to win it, especially as they claim to play too many games as it is. Aussies do not like to lose at anything, and certainly not RL.
You can be absolutely assured that, especially seeing the Aussie sides have been embarrassed by the British year after year, that Manly will be taking this match completely seriously, and might even give Leeds a game.

jason robinson, the NRL ref who reffed last season's france v england test. is reffing the game..
leeds picked him especially...because A. he is'nt archer or hayne and b. he was very good when he reffed the international last year like a proper ref...unlike archer & hayne
Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently. Rosa Luxemburg, 'Die russiche Revolution'.

Since when did an Australian team in any sport take a game against the old Colonial Power lightly?
