well manly beat the storm by loads more than they beat leeds.

i mean last night was a really close game that either team could win

until the kickoff.

Leeds were not on top form and Manly were undercooked. Until we play it as a genuine battle of the champions, two weeks after each GF then it is all just a mute point.

Leeds were without:

Full back: Brent Webb (NZ international)

Hooker: Daniel Buderus (Australian international)

Scrum half: Robert Burrow (England international) after 16 minutes.

The three key positions in the team were not filled by the first choice players.

How could anyone have expected an understrength team with such setbacks in key personnel to compete with a full strength and well oiled machine like Manly.

It was in fact an unfair contest.
