He just said the NRL was the toughest competition in the game as an off the cuff remark when he was talking about something else. I got the impression that he was going to the say "... in the world" but didn't for some reason.

were'nt they on about trial games? and crowe said (on the lines of) beating a english teams doesn't count'?

tbf i can understand why owners of the nrl clubs are vexed off with sl teams.

he said manly beating an english team doesnt count for NRL form when discussing whether theyll beat the dogs.

if the best team in england doesnt mean much, whats he saying about SL.
