more stories in aussie press, this time rugby league week
it reports that rumours that monaghan returning home next year continue unabated.
the titans and his old club canberra are favourites for his signature
hes not happy at warrington apparently, which would explain his poor form
id be happy seeing him back here, hes a great player

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Best place for him - he is a very average player - anyone who can lose their place at six to Lyon can't be upto much - which has been proved during his time in SL. His defence is attrocious and his decision-making in attack isn't a lot better.
It begs the question how can a player go through the celebrated NRL system and come out the other end such a poor player? It is the biggest blight on SL the numbers of these NRL reared players who are incapable of even the basics

Don't want him at Canberra unless he takes a massive pay cut.

I like how when NRL players get shown up in SL they blame their form on being "unhappy" or "unsettled".
Not as unhappy as the mugs who pay their wages I would guess.
Monaghan has been a terrible buy and his mate King is just a reasonably big, reasonably fast lad. Both painfully average.
