8 Super League Players of Past & Present will battle it out for a first prize of £5000 at the Hull Ice Arena on Saturday December 17th and this promises to be a Pre Xmas Christmas Cracker!

Lee Radford has generously agreed that a percentage of the profits from his forthcoming Testimonial will be donated to the 2 Charities he supports The Steve Prescott Foundation and Life For A Kid.

The Eight Fighters battling it out for the £5000 Prize are

Hull FC Assistant coach Lee Radford will step into the ring again to take part in the first ever Rugby League Prizefighter event.
The event will take place on Saturday 17th December 2011 at Hull Arena and will be the main event of the Lee Radford Testimonial, which runs for 3 months from 1st December 2011.
Stepping into the ring on the night will be PNG Legend Stanley Gene who is currently been trained by Former world champion Stevie Smith, Ex Great Britain captain Paul Sculthorpe and former Huddersfield and Sheffield forward Dale Laughton who make up the ex players contingent.
Four current Super league Heavy weights will join them in the form of Louis McCarthy Scarsbrook (St.Helens), Liam Higgins (Wakefield Wildcats), Weller Haruaki (Leeds Rhinos) and Lee Jewitt (Salford Reds).
The 8 fighters will be fighting for the £5,000 winner’s prize money and the draw for the fights will take place at Lee Radford’s Testimonial dinner on Sunday 4th December 2011.
This is going to be a thrilling contest with everybody out to win and cannot be missed for any Rugby League or Boxing Fan.
Who will take the crown of Super League Prizefighter?
All the Ringside tickets sold out within days but tickets are still available priced at £75, £50, £40, £30.
If your club or organisation buys 10 tickets your club or organisation will receive a refund for 3 tickets. This can go towards making vital improvements to your grounds or facilities.
The event will also support the children’s charity www.lifeforakid.com which Lee Radford supports as a charity patron and The Steve Prescott Foundation.
We are also pleased to announce that Legendary Boxing Referee Mickey Vann will be one of the guest referee’s. Mickey refereed the famous Battle of Britain bout between Frank Bruno & Lennox Lewis and has refereed over 100 World Title Bouts. Mickey is an avid rugby league fan and relished the opportunity to get involved with Super League Prizefighter.
Entertainment on the night will also be provided by Leroy Vickers and the Castleford Claws Dance Team.
