Is it about publicity, or was the suggestion to try and fill the skills gap that has appeared since we stopped taking backs from Wales?

After 13 years of professionalism the lack of skilful backs we produce has to be a big worry.

Yes, because we'd only buy geriatric union players anyway. And we don't need them, we have enough talent in our youth system.
