Watching Danny Buderus against Wakefield from a Leeds point of view was like watching Andrew Johns from a Warrington fans point of view.

If he doesn’t get to play another game this season then at least I can tell future generations that I saw the great Danny Buderus pull on the Rhinos shirt.

He’s worth every penny.

Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

You kill yourself if you keep that up.
Cunningham and Roby have been weighed and measured by the Leeds pack and found wanting.

An excuse for everything haven't you you hypocrite. Personally I don't care how Leeds waste their cash or block the progression of young English players, I leave the judgemental stuff up tp folk like you For what it's worth I think he totally past it and offers nothing - unlike Winterstien who might actually play a few games. You have been conned.

Pure comedy gold and I think you mean it

Johns was blinding for Warrington, where as Buderus couln't even out smart
the part time bricky Wakefield put against him.

I keep reading your post and it just gets funnier, better even than Smokey's best efforts. 10/10

Yes, but maybe not quite as good as Keiron 'The Bronze Hog' Cunningham and James 'ex-Man of Steel and England's Hooking Saviour' Roby. I feel embarrassed that we won a title (Sorry, make that two) against the Entertainers with such a clear deficiency on the team sheet. How did a hooker of Diskin's standard outdo 2 modern greats? It defies belief...

Diskin has been excellent this season, Roby or Cunningham are still better all the same. Diskin has plenty of time to change that and good luck to him.

3 from 3 with 3 titles in 5 years says yeah, we can afford a luxury like Buderus, im not sure which British player he is blocking the progression of considering McShanes involvement would be limited regardless of buderus

whatever helps you justify signing players not good enough for the NRL because survival is all your club is capable of is fine with me,

as long as there are clubs like wakefield with neither the infrastruture, ambition, or potential to challenge us, the easier it is for us to carry on winning these titles

NSW's State of Origin preparations were muddied further yesterday when skipper Danny Buderus became the latest Blues star to be plunged into doubt for Wednesday's series opener.

Just days after Matt Cooper was ruled out and Mark Gasnier sent a major scare through the camp, the Blues now face another anxious wait, with Buderus to have more tests today on an injured back.

Newcastle Knights skipper Danny Buderus has been ruled out of Saturday night's clash with the Sydney Roosters.

Buderus suffered a medial ligament tear to his left knee in last Monday's 44-0 loss to Melbourne and could be out for up to two weeks.

FORTUNE doesn't always favour the brave - just ask Danny Buderus.
Desperate to erase Wednesday night's painful Origin farewell, the courageous Newcastle skipper was yesterday condemned to another month in purgatory because of a knee injury.

A disappointed Buderus told The Saturday Daily Telegraph he faces four weeks on the sidelines after scans yesterday revealed he had aggravated a stress fracture.

Danny Buderus' NRL career is almost certainly over after the veteran hooker suffered a suspected ruptured bicep in Newcastle's 38-24 win over North Queensland.

The Knights captain, who will join Super League club Leeds Rhinos next season, was forced from the field with 10 minutes to go at EnergyAustralia Stadium and it is feared the injury could keep him out for six months.
