I believe in the Challenge Cup you have to allocate 30% of the ground capacity to away fans if required. Thats what we are being told in regards to our trip to Barrow.

In Super League though I'm not sure its ever going to be an issue. Some grounds may be poor quality but size wise we don't have too many problems.

That is correct, we have sent over 5k tickets to Saints for the cup game to them, which could coincedently all go out for free.. but thats not the point.. they still have the extra allocation of 1.4k to be sent over if it is needed, which will be put to the side for them imo.

As usual the answer is within the RFL Operational Rules (available on the RFL website).

In the Challenge Cup:
"The visiting Club may request that advance sale tickets be issued and if requested shall be entitled to be provided, in order to sell at face value, up to 30% of all tickets made available for general sale to the public."

In the League:
"The visiting Club may request that advance sale tickets be issued and if requested shall be entitled to be provided, in order to sell at face value, up to 10% of all tickets made available for general sale to the public."

however:

"Where it is deemed appropriate, the Board shall have the right to vary the allocation of tickets to the visiting Club."

And the number of total sell outs a season in rugby league is???? Are you hoping Hull fans get no tickets for your ground???

BTW the away percentage in football only applies to FA Cup and League Cup ties. Clubs can totally ban away fans for league games if they like as used to happen with Luton and until recently Cardiff v Swansea games. I think the last football league game no away fans were allowed into was Wolves v Cardiff a couple of seasons ago.

I'm sure that the rule changed for league games as well. Iirc, Man City got in trouble by offering a lower than allowed amount of away tickets to Southampton for their last game at Maine Road? Something like that anyway.
Relating to the OP. I think he is bringing it up because Hull FC have only sent half of Rovers allocation for the derby game next month until a cheque is recieved for the first half which I don't think is against the rules looking at the RFL guidelines. It just sounds like the lack of trust between the two clubs is causing this problem

spouting rubbish?

what by stating facts that you deluded lot cant handle

hull kr struggled to attract even 2,000 supporters for games for the last 15 years is fact
hull kr brought less than 200 fan to the (then) mcalpine stadium in 2002 is fact
huddersfield have consistently averaged bigger home crowds than hull kr in the last 10-15 years is fact

hope that helps you flower
