You could possibly have the millennium week there and at a push the CC semi's also.

We could do with a base tho.

Would we get Government funding maybe?

Only for the GF and the CC , but that is not to say you would fill both of those if they were played at the same place

Also where would you locate this ' National ' stadium ?

London ? , Leeds ? , Hull ? , top of Saddleworth Moor ?

Yes, lets move the magic weekend to a stadium just off the M62, that will really spread the game. FFS.

having our own stadium won't improve the national game - the problem there isn't where the games are played its the players that are playing the game!

The best way to get crowds to the international games is good PR and Marketing, trying to get plenty of media coverage and more importantly put together a team of players who can compete on an international level.

Do you not think it would be a major boost to have our own stadium to call our own. As far as i can see we are the only potential major sport which doesn't have one. Some names are intertwined with the sports they house Wimbeldon, Wembley, Lords and Twickers everyone knows the sports they hold and they are known as the homes for that sport what is our home?
