Monaghan lost his place at five eighth to Lyon? I must have missed that.
Monas played one game at stand off in 2007 and one game there in 2006. I think you will find Lyon replaced Travis Burns.
Anyway, his form for Warrington has been poor but he's little more than a sideshow when Briers plays. Wire would be much better served by keeping Monaghan and replacing Briers with a less dominant half back.
Monas is a fine player whose best position is at hooker. If Tony Smith started Monaghan at number nine and rotated him with Higham they would be a much better side.
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

It was the intention for Monaghan to play 6 in Lyon's first season Manly and Lyon in the centre - sadly Monaghan proved a disaster in the trials and was sidelined which resulted in him taking the money - Cullen was always blinded by NRL status - I don't see any serious NRL club coming in for him - to say he is fine player is a joke - his defence is laughable

He did very well to play 26 games if he was sidelined.
His defence is actually pretty decent on the whole. Like the rest of Warrington's left hand combination he has been found wanting but at the play the ball and in a one on one situation he's reasonably solid.

so the best player in SL is not even rated a good player in the NRL.
OK if thats your benchmark, stick to it whenever someone critises SL rather than defending it.
You really are stupid - Lyon was voted MOS as a centre - not a 6 - maybe you could explain how a centre who has no credible experience at 6 can walk straight into a top NRL side at 6?
Then explain how Cronulla can find a starting place for Barratt - surely guys that have spent time in SL can't be upto the rigours of the NRL? But then he plays for Cronulla - how is your season going?

jamie lyon won teh MOS and also an NRL trophy playing at 6.
both those indicate hes a really good player.
so losing your place to jamie lyon (which he didnt anyway) is nothing to be ashamed of.
