the only thing the TV networks need to do is get subtitles when he talks.
You want to hope Jamie Peacock doesn't decide to go over there
FWIW i think Ellis will be a success over there as I think the NRL is well suited to his game. I really would like to see McGuire go over there for a few years as I think he has the ability and it would improve his game emmensly!
Can't wait until May when i get to see Ellis playing for the tigers in the flesh, so to speak!

Ellis did a lot better in his first game than he did against the Cowboys. He was caught out in defence a couple of times and one of those mistakes led to a try. Looked lost in attack but tried hard and kept going all game in conditions he has probably not played in too many times in his past. Hope he keeps improving.
Dissagree!
He had no chance of stopping that try he was simply too close to the line and momentum was always going to carry the player over.
He was still one of Wests better players in a poor team performance, I thought the game was played down the Tigers left and hence Ellis was'nt as involved as he was in his first match.
The week to week intensity won't phase him, he's one of the best conditioned athletes in the game, is very mentaly strong and is probably the most professional player at the Wests club.

the NRL "intensity" myth is going to get blown out of the water this season...
they were only intense because they played slow, boring,up the middle, percentage RL..
