Also like to point out I've tried to keep it as fair as possible in my selections of Expansion teams (teams that have ticked the most boxes AFAIC)

they will never bring in two Q'land sides at the same time.


In the ideal world (and leaving the Bears sentiment aside) I'd have:

2013 WA and Brisbane2
2018 NZ2 & CC Bears (or a Sydney relocation)
2023 PNG and Adelaide
2028 CQ or South Queensland

Would just about be it for the next century.

the bears are a strong club than perth are, sorry but 5000 members and a rich sugar daddy they are the strongest bid

They are the strongest bid in the weakest location. Perth will be worth more in TV $'s than another NSW team, as will a Q'land team. Bears deserve to be in but if any of the three Q'land bids get their act together in time I can see them missing out, sadly. However, I don't think they will as the Q'land bids have left it too late to get everything together. Bears and Reds have been working on their bids for a number of years.

I like the looks of that, and you never know, by 2028, Darwin might has a decent population too.

perth has no sugar daddy, and very few members

bears have everything going for them

central caost has one of the fastest growing populations in australia, has loads of juniors and a great stadium

the reds wish they had half of what the bears had

the bears will be the next team in and theyll drag in perth with it because we need 2 teams for tv

just thank the bears for your entry, their hard work will pay off

sugar daddy in place - bears

number of leagues club to support bid - bears
revival of RL heartland in north shore and feel good factor of bears return - bears

the only thing perth have is potential increase in TV viewers over 10 years and a new TV slot for eastern markets

everything else is the bears JB

GROWL.

the perth bid in terms of membership numbers and financial backers is actually poor

Christchurch will share a franchise with Wellington IMO..........and I believe there will be a second NZ team well before 2022...........if not, I suspect that the NZRL/NRL may have left it too late.
Money is the only thing lacking for a bid.....finding someone willing to underwrite a team over here is proving troublesome
