Good for SL if there are 14 teams rather than just 11 teams that we have at the moment. If London, Widnes and Crusaders have markedly improved squads for 2012 then it can only be good for SL, England and grass-roots development.
A few-hundred thousand pounds and the fortunes of the whole sport can really grow.
Genuinely hope that we can see every team go into the start of next season with a genuine shot at the play-offs in 2012, although hopefully the London side can convince a few big players to join the team in the big city, they might want a large wage, but if you want the bigger names you have to pay the bigger wages, unless you want marquee signings to be less than larger than life.
