It will be a great signing for whoever picks him up.

Carney at Wigan or Warrington seems like to me. Both have quota and cap room available and are both ambitious enough to pull off the signing.

Leeds? Quota spots available and Salary cap room not a problem at all with Buderus, Senior, Lauitiiti, Cross, Burgess, Coady, Casey, Kettlewell all released from the cap for next season. Just whether he would want to be here.

We're in exactly the same position. Cap room and quota spots free, just whether he wants to come.

Nothing violent or anything that would get Jail time.
He was on a no alcohol policy at the Roosters and broke that agreement several times.

He was on $400k a year when he was at Canberra several years ago when he was developing, after being last years Dally M player of the year he would be at the top end of the market regardless of his poor behaviour.

$500-$600k a year would be there abouts I would think, on the field he is in or close to the best 10 or 20 players in the NRL.

It’s clear the guy is an idiot. He is a talented player and that’s what makes him an even bigger idiot

Super League clubs shouldn’t go within a million miles of him – if you are not professional enough to play in one league, why would we assume his behaviour would change just because he is on the other side of the world?

Maybe a French one They seem to have been more willing to give out a visa to sportsman with a record in the past.
