Precisely my point. This doll issue was a non-event in Australia. The game however was massive and has seen people from countless other sports comment on its sheer quality. The BBC saw fit not to report on that but to find some curious agenda which was hidden to the vast bulk of Australians.

Further, rugby league people in Australia take great offence and rightly so at being lumped in with the AFLs disastrous treatment of Adam Goodes. It is a total irrelevance to the Australian rugby league community which has embraced indigenous players for many decades.

They obviously missed the other 1000s of articles on the quality of the game while including that particular one selectively. But as long as it's perceived...well I am happy.
