Doesn't the new South stand kind of ruin what makes the current one so good? Getting rid of the low roof will make the acoustics totally different and trap less noise in.

Capacity will be back to around 22k south stand will be done first then north stand year after.
13k capacity for two years.
Can see games moving to elland road maybe for a couple of the big games only.

Look forward to teams having to use the dressing rooms under the South Stand and being able to hear every word of the half time team talks

Are Catalan still building that weird stand behind the post? That seems to have been going on for about five years.

Also, as mentioned. Stick a roof on the bloody away end Leeds. Even Wakefield have managed one.

Leeds would love to rebuild the Western Terrace but the public footpath and houses directly behind it make it impossible.
I'd heard a few years back that Leeds had bought some of the houses behind the Western Terrace but others didn't want to sell. How true that is I don't know.

As for a roof, it'd be quite difficult to do there without either a large cost (the scoreboard and video screen would have to be moved) or it would end up being too high and lead to the houses behind objecting to planning.
