Who can stop them this season?

Wigan and their only game plan of give it to field and hope for the best? Back end of last season this game plan was utterly impotent as everyone had worked it out. Not a sniff they will be anywhere near winning SL with their awful pack.

Warrington and their “let’s ignore the salary cap and sign any NRL reject we can”? Top 6 possibly but no chance of winning SL

Despite Leeds fans thinking they have the best team in SL on paper, they will be lucky to make the top 4

5 on the trot for St Helens

Provide evidence of any Leeds fans thinking they have the best team in SL on paper. Other than you repeatedly posting that claim, I've not seen it anywhere.

Most Leeds fans are quite happy we'll be moving away from mid table obscurity and building to start competing at the top end again. Saints have had it easy the last few years, all the usually contenders have been distinctly average.

If you can be bothered wading through 426 pages of Leeds fans complaining about Knowles despite them all loving a homophobic student beating druggy, you will find some pearlers in there about how Leeds will easily beat St Helen’s

Depending on injuries to Saints we are clear favourites again this year. Wigan & Huddersfield to push hard this year.

The lad behind Paul Wellens is the new superstar at Saints this year............GEORGE DELANEY............... Look out Superleague.

I’ve said the same thing about Wigan for the past 4 years and was proved correct lmao. Therefore I don’t talk s***

Just because you are insecure, needy and can’t handle someone saying something negative about Wigan, doesn’t make me a troll.

Saints can stop themselves this year. Travelling to Aus for what will be 2 tough very physical games. Likely to be injuries and fatigue from the travelling. If they do pick up the injuries I wouldn't be surprised to see a slow start to the season.

I agree with you with regards the fatigue, jet lag and possible injuries but if Saints really want to win this game, they will need to be playing at their peak performance at this early stage of the 2023 season.

It will be then very difficult to play the rest of the season at that level and to peak again for the Super League play-offs.

It’s not great to be bored with a new SL season before it has even kicked off.

Well done St Helens. Both genuinely and sarcastically.

Anybody got any suggestions for vaguely interesting sub-plots? I’m thinking maybe how Leigh go this time around.

I didn't really rate Woolf that much who in my view just took credit for the work Holbrook did. It will be interesting to see if Wellens is Cunningham-esque or if he actually has what it takes (which shouldn't be very much if you listen to our resident St Helens troll).

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

Probably just start peaking at the end of the season and win it from 6th place.
