how long have you been watching Rugby there always been bits of trouble i will say it again it not good but it was not half as bad as people are making out and no i was not involved.
Been playing and watching Union since I could walk and League for 8......and I have no time for anyone who throws a bottle, plastic pint pot, coin, lighter or even a wobbly as the result of a sporting "injustice".
The Lions on Saturday showed how it should be done. Dodgy ref from last week became dodgier linesman this week and the management and fans accept his decision. Castleford fans feel aggrieved and spit their dummies out big style.....great example to set the Kids.
RESPECT used to be the moral high ground that Rugby (both codes) took when compared to soccer.....Alas, it seems that some people think it's OK to abuse the official (and I don't mean chants) and throw items onto the pitch towards players who have spent 80 minutes putting their bodies on the line.
Sorry, there is no excuse for it. Castleford RLFC need to send out a message that this is unacceptable by banning anyone involved in this sorry affair. To do anything else erodes the respect that we have as a family sport.
For the record, I swear like a docker at games sometimes, but if I ever threw anything on the pitch I would expect to be banned for life. Anyone who thinks the behaviour at Castleford is excuseable needs their heads looking at
