As a Fax fan i think we would comfortably average more than London if we were in SL, on the other hand im thankful that we are not.I would rather us compete in a really strong division than be one of the 8 or so teams who has no chance of ever competing year after year in SL.

Only fax that would bring far more in. About 4500 ave, Fev would look at about 3,000 ave per match.

i'm one of you lot mate ! a fookin' southerner born and bred - never been in a working mens club actually old chap ! the beer's actually cheaper at the local Con Club :DRUNK: (or it used to be !)

but just enlighten me, what is the friggin' point of having a club in London that no one is interested in ?

you lot ( us lot) don't merit a club in SL so let Mr Hughes & co stop masquerading as the big 'I am' down sarf and let the real RL fans benefit

and stop making assumptions of ones background when you clearly have feck all idea of who you are talking to !

It makes no sense whatsoever, from a business point of view or any other. The club must be losing tens upon tens of thousands of pounds a week. No one goes to watch. It's not even as if the side are any good and play attractive exciting rugby league.

I genuinely have no idea why London have a SL side. WHY?

I hardly ever read threads like this and always regret it when when I do (even if only a couple of pages). Always makes me feel that many would rather that those of us who want to watch RL and live in the south didn't bother. It feels like they want to go back to the good old days of it being a regional sport, like the highland games or something, and shown occasionally on the BBC as a sort of curiosity that the rest of the country can gawp at. I know there are many who feel differently but sometimes it does get wearing.

well, if a few thousand more people felt like you then very few people would be complaining

you have to admit the Broncos or Quinbs or whatever Mr Hughes wants to call them aren't worthy of an SL place then why should they be there

just put the team in the Championship so people in the minority such as your good self can still watch live RL ?

Define 'Worthy'?
They passed the licensing requirements above a fair few other clubs, it's like people here forget that all clubs go through peaks & troughs. So look back at the likes of Wigan, St.helens, Hull, Bradford, Warrington even Leeds, all gone through rough patches and crowds that would be looked at as a disgrace. Was anyone deeming them not to be 'worthy' in the competition they were in, no.
Sure, there's a possiblity London may well not be in SL some time down the line & yes crowds are poor at best but to state they aren't worthy is just utter rubbish.

was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have
